My Story (so far)

I grew up in southern Michigan during the 70’s and 80’s, where the accents were flat and the hair was big.

Now I’m a mother of two and a wife of one living in Raleigh, NC. Before non-socially distanced times, I was the person who came to your child’s school to set up the book fair. At home, I am the maker of quesadillas.

I write happy(ish) stories about relationships, families and the intersection of past and present. I enjoy reading all genres, especially fiction, YA, and horror. Some of my favorite writers include Beverly Cleary, Jan Karon, Douglas Adams, Stephen King, Shirley Jackson, and Rosamunde Pilcher.

My debut Women’s Fiction novel, SOMETHING BETTER, is now available from Blue Ink Press.

I’m a movie and pop-culture fan, and am, like, totally obsessed with all things Gen X. I’m also a lifelong theater geek, and will break out in song at a moment’s notice, often with the intention of embarrassing my children.

I look forward to sharing my story with you!
